CASE STUDY:
The peer-driven Student Mentoring Program at Victoria University, powered by Vygo, ensures that all first-year students have access to the guidance and support they need to navigate university life, build connections, and succeed academically from day one.
Recognising the challenges faced by students—especially international, mature-aged, and diverse-background students—in adjusting to university life, Victoria University implemented this program to provide structured, accessible peer mentoring. Through Vygo, students are matched with trained mentors who guide them in academic skills, university processes, and social integration, fostering confidence, engagement, and a sense of belonging. This approach not only enhances student success but also creates a supportive, connected university experience.
