About the Study

The idea of transitioning into university life can be daunting and quite stressful for most new students at the best of times, and these challenges are further amplified for veterans transitioning from active service. Despite the increased number of student veterans on campus across Australia, most conventional student support ecosystems are not equipped to address their specific needs and, in most cases, are built around the transitional needs of high school leavers. This lack of support results in a highly vulnerable student demographic during a crucial part of their educational journey.
